Flutist Kana Miyamoto and Kora player Yasuhiro Sakairi
Free improvisation project in the field.

Kana is a New York-based Flutist, Yasuhiro is a Kora player in Japan. They did an experiment field recording in Chiba, Japan 2015. The music has released on Spotify and iTunes in 2021 and released on Bandcamp in May 2022.

This album contains six songs, "Introduction" and "Forest time" were freely improvised, those melodies were created at that moment. "Pocket Rocket" is the only written music of Kana’s composition, "Talking" and "Words from the Forest" are conversational free improvisation with environmentally sound. The sixth track "Going Home is another free improvisation track.

This project was recorded at one of the large parks in Chiba, under the giant mushroom bench where we recorded entire of the album on a sunny day in June 2015.
